Studio Thrusday

Update! I've been pondering the thought of having one day a week where I will post what is going on in the studio and maybe with my wee biz in real time. So, I'm trying out Studio Thursday!

On this beautiful September Thursday I am working on the Blue Flower Star Vase, so today will include quite a bit of carving. I also have tea pots lined up for carving and a few are set aside to try out new designs. the holidays are quickly approaching and I have yet to put ornamanets into production so molds will be made today. I have 3 designs up my sleeve that I love!!! I've been drawing them out and playing with colors so today I absolutely have to make the molds - they will be produced like my tiles in a press mold. And that is really all that will fit into today but I have bowls to throw on my to-do list. We'll see how far I get.

So, there you go! That is my life on this wonderful, cool (ahhhh) day. Oh! and life stuff will happen too like walking Marley and running to UPS to ship orders.

I'm getting into the busy season and want to feel prepared - which means being in production mode and trying to still to a jam packed schedule. I'm looking forward to it : )
